Year 3 / 4 team did a fantastic job. They did not give up to the very end. Ended up winning 3 out of 5 matches, against some strong opposition. Well done to all.

What an incredible start back… Our first swimming session was a success, Children really enjoyed the hunt outside in Forest school, Everyone passed Level 1 cycling proficiency, Gymnastics for some – Ukulele for others, and even Racket club was a ball!

This term we have been x 10 / 100 and dividing by 10 and 100. We then moved onto multiplying a 2 digit number by a 1 digit number, some super mathematicians even multiplied 3 digit numbers by a 1 digit number! In our final week we are moving onto measurements.
India experience day

On Friday we were extremely lucky to have Sunita come into school to work with us. She started by telling us the Story around the Hindu festival of lights – Diwali. We then dressed up in traditional Indian Clothing, participating in Indian Folk and Bollywood style dancing. In the afternoon, we created Rangoli Artwork and had an overview of Indian Lifestyles and Culture & Challenging Stereotypes. To end our fantastic day we showcased some of our dancing to the rest of the school.
