On Wednesday 22nd May eight children from Hawks and eight children from Kestrels attended a football tournament held at the POSH stadium in Peterborough. Hawks were competing first against two other schools playing two games against each. Whilst this was happening Kestrels had a tour around the stadium by Gavin, who also gave a talk on the History of the football club. The children were even allowed to sit in the most expensive viewing boxes and also the managers’ seats. After that the groups swapped round, with Kestrels then playing their football games whilst Hawks had the tour. The matches were 6 aside and all of the children played extremely well with Kestrels winning their tournament. They will receive tickets to watch a POSH game next season.
